Taylor
Rotorsports has for rent a 1980 RX-7 prepped to the SCCA's ITA
rules. These cars can be relatively highly modified for the ITA
class compared to the relatively stock SRX7's, including
suspension adjustments and wider, stickier tires. Even with these
modifications, the cars prove incredible reliable and also
incredibly fast and fun!
ITA RX7's are
allowed to run coil-overs and tri-link/panhard bar rear
suspension. With the addition of an 8 point cage and sticky
Hoosier DOT-R's, the amount of grip the car has is incredible. Equipped
with a short exhaust, this car puts out less power and torque than
our SpecRX-7's, but expect that to be remedied fairly soon.
